CAFE28 THE ULTIMATE &
FAST TRAILER-ABLE MAXI!
Build on the same hull lines like Café27 which has been nominated for
European Boat of the Year 2006,
Café28 comes out of new set of moulds with small improvements in and
out. The tooling has been machine cut from 3D model
to assure higher assembly precision and to shorten delivery time.
Swim platform has been added as well as extra seat hatch for easier sail
locker access.
HULL &
DECK:
The
hull and deck are multiaxial fabrics, & balsa sandwich. This way of
construction allows us to save weight, add stiffness & insulate the boat
from heat & cold. The sandwich continues all the way to the floor level,
to keep the condensation out of the interior. The structural web frame
is laminated in place to assure full structural integrity.
INTERIOR:
Spacious
layout and inviting interior with focus on functionality, style & class.
Forward berth is 2.0m long with hatch above and may be separated from
amidships by privacy curtain. Full bulkhead with sliding door is also
available if requested. Main saloon features settee for five to six
guests. A galley is to the port side. Stainless sink, alcohol stove &
cooler will assure full galley services aboard! The table is installed
above the keel with bar in the middle. Navigation table can be fixed,
folding or not at all. Bathroom is definitely winner, 1.35m long x 1.10m
wide, standing headroom 1.75m. Aft cabin offers privacy, to change or
rest. There is also storage locker, shelf and berth 1.40m wide x 2.4m
long!
EXTERIOR:
Low
maintenance oriented exterior with high definition of finish, molded
antislip and through bolted stainless hardware, UV- resistant
accessories. Wide cockpit with molded seats will accommodate 6 people. A
swim latter closes the transom as a gate. Teak decking or MarineDeck2000 is also available for
installation
RIGGING & APPENDAGES:
12m
aluminum deck stepped mast with double spreaders, stainless wire stays
and adjustable stainless turnbuckles.
Rudder is balanced, hull under-mounted. Keel is a performance foil and
constructed to bring the centre of gravity as low as possible.
SAILS:
Offering
full range of sails or custom sailplan as well.
